Ramchandra Shahi Museum
Entry is free and the collection is quite interesting. There are Harappan artefacts, local Stone Age pottery shards, coins from different periods, gramophones, a kerosene-run fan, statues and statuettes, beads, and manuscripts of the Ramayana and Shrimad Bhagwat in early Devanagari and Kaithi scripts. The manuscripts in particular could use better preservation. Photography is not allowed. Overall, a good museum for a city like Muzaffarpur.
